Paola Bignardi is an appreciated educator and journalist from Cremona. She was the first woman in history to lead the Italian Catholic Action and president for two terms, from 1998 to 2005. She directed the fortnightly magazine for primary school “Scuola Italiana Moderna” and is collaborator of Editrice La Scuola in Brescia. As a member of the Committee of Institute Toniolo, she coordinates the implementation of the Youth Project, for which she also edited the latest research on young people and their faith in Italy God in my own way. These responsibilities have brought her to deepen the issues related to the condition of lay Christians in the world and in the Church.
