Bryan Froehle directs the Ph.D. program in practical theology within the School of Theology and Ministry at St. Thomas University, Miami Gardens, Florida. Since 2008 he has been professor of practical theology there, teaching at the undergraduate, M.A., and M.Div. levels as well as within the doctoral program. He previously served at Dominican University, CARA, and the University of South Carolina. He completed his Ph.D. in sociology at the University of Michigan in 1993. His publications range from work on world Christianity to public theology and congregational studies. His recent work includes a co-authored chapter within An Invitation to Practical Theology: Catholic Visions and Voices (Paulist Press, 2014). He helped lead evaluation research for the Archdiocese of Chicago-based INSPIRE project.
