National Director of Catholic Mission Australia, Australia

Fr Brian Lucas is a priest of the Archdiocese of Sydney. He is presently the National Director of Catholic Mission (the Pontifical Mission Societies in Australia). Previous appointments include: General Secretary of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference; Financial Administrator and Secretary of the Archdiocese of Sydney: Director of Catholic Church Insurance Limited. Fr Lucas has academic qualifications in law, jurisprudence, general studies and theology and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has been a member of the Australian Taxation Office Not for Profit Advisory Group and is currently a member the Australian Charities and Not-for Profits Commission Professional Users Group. He is a co-author of the Church Administration Handbook and Pleasing to God – The Call to Church Administration.
