Born in 1955. From 1983 to 2003 scientific assistant and later professor of social economy („non market economy“) at the Universities of Bamberg and Neubrandenburg. During the nineties Visiting Prof at the Pomoren University at Arkhangelsk (Russia). Since 2004 professor at the catholic university of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt ; Working areas: NPO-Controlling, financing theory of meritorious goods, Social Return on Investment accounting, church management.
Head of the “Center for the Economics of Special Real Estates and Service Management” at the TRANSMIT Center in Gießen. He is also member of various supervisory boards and scientific advisory boards.
Over 180 scientific publications, including 25 books.
